SHE Management System

We maintain a SHE Management System, which is compliant with the latest ISO 14001 and 45001 standards, and provides via global SHE manual, the guidelines for operating safely and acting in respect with our natural environment.

All of our sites manufacturing commercial products are ISO 14001 certified, and most of them are ISO 45001 certified or planned to be before end of 2022. Some of the sites have additional certificates (ISO 9001, ISO 50001, HACCP, FSSC 22000).

At Ajinomoto Bio-Pharma Services we have a global SHE team in place that consists of local site SHE representatives and global SHE professionals. The Global SHE team works closely with the sites and ensures the implementation of rules and standards for safe processes, and overseeing our company-wide sustainability efforts.

The continuous-improvement tools driving environmental performance and improved safety are designed to enable sustainable use of natural resources, reducing our carbon footprint and minimizing volumes hazardous waste.
