The opportunity to develop and optimize processes regarding various bio-therapeutics is what led me to choose to work at Aji Bio Pharma Services. As a contract development and manufacturing organization, every day here is unique.
What has been your career path at Aji Bio-Pharma Services?
Aji Bio-Pharma Services has supported my professional growth from the very beginning. I was first hired as a Part-Time Lab Assistant, and in that role I had the opportunity to interact with and support multiple departments. This experience is what led me to develop the necessary skills to join Process Development and advance in my career.
What’s the most inspiring part of your job?
Learning about the impact that Aji-Bio Pharma Services has on patients is the most inspiring part of my job. We make a real difference.

The best word to describe the culture at Aji Bio-Pharma Services is collaborative. We work together, both inter and intra-departmentally, both with employees and with our clients, to ensure that we are providing quality services that will help improve patient health.
What have you gained from working here?
Working at Aji-Bio Pharma Services has given me hands on experience regarding the multiple steps involved in process development. From strain selection, to fermentation, to scale-up, I have gained insight on the various processes that occur within the company.
What advice would you give to recent new hires?
My advice to new hires would be to take advantage of all of the opportunities that the company has to offer and to make it an effort to take on challenges as a chance to grow.
What is your favorite part about working here?
Aji Bio-Pharma works with various patient indications. My favorite part is knowing that we are contributing to not just one, but a multitude of treatment therapies.
How do you help impact Ajinomoto Bio-Pharma Services mission and vision?
I impact the mission and vision by optimizing product yields in fermentation processes. The material produced through these initial stages goes on to support a variety of clinical trials.
What is your hidden talent?
I like to crochet in my spare time.
